Ex en Provence

Narrated by Lara Peake and Arty Froushan

Sophie is stuck. Trapped in the make believe world of film sets and call sheets, nothing in her life feels real. When she receives a call out of blue informing she’s entitled her portion of inheritance from a recently deceased French ancestor (newsflash – she has French ancestors?), she immediately packs her bags.

Arriving in Provence, she’s hoping for sun, wine, and maybe – if she’s lucky – some French saucisson. Immediately, Sophie falls under the spell of the crumbling Chateau Lavande, and she feels herself more than falling for Thibault, the impossibly sexy vineyard manager.

But as the lawyers meeting approaches, who does she bump into but Mark – her teenage ex-husband she divorced from twelve years ago.

What was looking like a blissful summer of love, quickly spirals into a tangled mess of dodgy property developers, fake relationships, and old feelings that she had sworn off for good.

But when Sophie discovers a secret that could change everything, she faces an impossible choice: claim her inheritance and a new way of life, or wave it all away for a chance at real love?
